Life from the Maldives… This is a public islamic blog of a Sunni Muslim Maldivian who, along with like-minded Sunni Muslim Maldivian friends, are trying to establish Islamic Shariah in Maldives .We want incorporate Pure Monotheism into the Maldives' Constitution in the spirit of the Quran's verses,
Currently, only Sunni Muslims are described as legal Maldivian Citizens and this is obviously Islamic and this has to be like this forever since Maldives is a hundred percent Muslim country. Sufis and Shias are deviated sects and never can be considered as Ahlusunnah Wal Jamaa'at. That is why the Maldives' Consitution refuses to recognize Sufis and Shiittes as true Muslims, which is a blessing.
So this blog exists because, as in the words of Rib'ee ibn 'Aamir radiallaahu 'anhu, “Allaah has sent us to deliver whomsoever chooses, from the 'uboodiyyah (enslavement, worship and servitude) of men to the 'uboodiyyah of Allaah, And from the narrowness of this world, to the vastness of this world and the Hereafter. And from the tyranny and oppression of (false) religions, to the justice of Islaam."”
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ -آل عمران: ١٩
"Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." and
وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآَخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ- آل عمران: ٨٥
"And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be
accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
"
